deleting old database after rebuild?

Post by silvermoonbeam »

Hi,

I opened my Bookends database for the first time after upgrading to Leopard and got a message stating there were several problems and that I should rebuild. I did, and Bookends created a new database with the word "rebuilt" appended to the database name. The old database is still in my Bookends folder. Should I delete that or does the newly created database need it for something?

Thanks!

Hi,

You can delete it if you like (or zip and archive it). You should use the new database now, of course (and can give it the old name, if you want).
