shortcut key to enter page #

Post by soliphint »

It would be nice to have a shortcut key to enter page numbers. I use Mellel, and the insertion of citations, scan and unscan, could not be smoother. However, once Mellel/BE inserts the citation object, it's not altogether easy to get the page #s into that object. At the Mellel forum, one man gave the tip to hit Cmd Shft Left arrow, hit Return, then Right arrow to add "@#" This works fine, but a single key combo to enter the citation object at the point at which the page #s are inserted would be very quick and convenient.

Hi,

I think that's not a bad idea, and I know a similar suggestion was made to the Redlers (don't know if it was you). But since the coding for such a feature would mostly be n the Mellel side, they're really the ones to contact (I see you posted on their forum, too).
