Format sorting

Post by jem »

I'm trying to create my own format and I'm probably doing something really backwards.

I'm creating a format that is supposed to generate a plain text result (HTML code that I'm going to insert on a web page) and I want the references to be sorted in reverse chronological order but I can't figure out how to do that. I would be most grateful if someone could tell me how to do that.

Hi,

Once you've marked your references, go to Hits -> Sort Hits and sort them by date (Z -> A). Note that date sorts are alphanumeric, so if there is data preceding the year (like the month) the sort will not be in chronological order.
