Is this Endnote format?

Post by yinglam »

Hi,

I tried to import from the "EndNote 6 Export" and "EndNote Export" filters, but both won't work. I got this file from the library here:
http://library.cuhk.edu.hk/search~S15/? ... 1,B/export

I selected the endnote option and clicked the export button and got a file called 'export.txt', which is an ASCII txt file, and I have attached it here.

But BE told me that "Done. No references were imported"

How come?

Please help me this newbie here. Thanks.................

Yes, that is what Bookends calls the EndNote (Refer) style. But Bookends expects it to begin with

%0

(zero)

followed by the source type (e.g.Book).

Since your output doesn't, you must edit the import filter so that Bookends knows a reference starts with

%A
