I really love that I can get Bookends to apply the title case to titles, and as I mentioned in another thread, I hope that there can be a way to apply Title case to other fields as well (perhaps specified in the format).
The problem I run into is the occasion times when I am using German or French works. The title case applied to these actually ends up ruining the capitalization of these. This problem also comes for me when an article has Greek or Hebrew in it, as the Greek is sometimes all capitalized in the title. Bookends ends up changing it to small caps.
Can I suggest, perhaps, a way to have Bookends not apply title case to certain references? I was thinking maybe the use of the language field may be an option. If the language field says "english" or is left blank, then the title case applies to the reference. If it says anything else, the title will be output as is.
Another option may be to have some special character (like a + sign or something) inserted at the beginning of the title field to signify that the Title case should not be applied.
Thanks, Danny
