Problems to Scan

Post by Riad Goas »

Hi,

I do not know what am doing wrong but I am not able to scan the document am working in. The document appears gray and so it is not possible to scan it. I am using Bookends 9.1 and Mellel 2.1.3. When traying to open a different one it also appears gray. In fact, all my documents seem to be invisible for bookends. Any idea?

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Yes. You can't scan a Mellel files. Instead, you open the file in Mellel and use the Bibliography Palette to tell Bookends to scan it. Mellel and Bookends will communicate with each other, and the result will be a scanned document in a new window.

Please refer to the User Guide for more information about how Mellel and Bookends work together.
