Empty Word Document

Jon,

Bookends has been working properly so far until I received an empty word document after the scan. I did not change any settings, just added more text in the document.

Can you please let me know, what I can do>

If this happens, of course don't save the document. Or if you do, immediately undo it.

You should contact us for tech support, not post here (there's nothing that can be done here).

Send me the document and the database (both zipped).

Thanks Jon!

I could sort it out by opening the word document in a PC Word version and repair it. It seems there has been a problem with the integrity of the file. Unfortunately, I do not know, how to fix this in a Mac Word version.

Do you have any ideas?

Hm, if the Word file is damaged I'm not aware of any utilities that fix it (maybe someone else is). Can't you import the Windows Word version into the Mac Word 2004? An alternative would be to export the Windows version as RTF and import that into the Mac version.
