DOI direct link to article on the web

Post by maggus031 »

Hi,

I wonder if you could add the ability to go with one click on the DOI (in extra reference window and in context menu in list view and as link in the right pane window) to the online location of the article; as with the URL field.
Sometimes it is rather useful to go to the site again to download the pdf or additional information.

Would be great.

Hi,

There is a menu item Refs -> Lookup From DOI.

Is this what you want? Of course, there must be a doi entered in the reference for this to be enabled.

Hi,

I know there is this entry, but it is not very fast to access. I would be faster if one could directly access the DOI as link by clicking on it.

Or use the keyboard shortcut Command-L.
