Pasting of formatted text in fields.

Is there any reason why you can paste formated text in fields like e.g. "title"? As far as I understand, the formatting is ignored by Bookends, right? Wouldn't it be more convenient to paste it as plain text as a default (at least when pasting in reference fields)?

Bookends does not ignore the styled text info in a field. If you italicize a word in the title, it will be italicized in the bibliography.

There is an option in Preferences to make "Paste as plain text" invokable with Command-V, if that's your preferred action.
