I have created a modified Turabian Author-Date format that fits the style guide for The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS), and I wanted to share it with other Bookends users. However, when I try and attach it to a post on this forum I get the response "The extension is not allowed." Any ideas? How do I share a format with others on this forum?

Tony

Re: Uploading Formats
Have you tried to zip/compress it? (Make a right-click or ctrl-click on your format in the Finder and tell it to Compress…)

Re: Uploading Formats
Had not tried that--didn't even know about that function?! Thanks!
Re: Uploading Formats
I don't think you can submit attachments to a forum. You place it on your own server (e.g. an iDisk) and post the link in the forum.
You can also send it to me, and I'll upload it to our ftp server.

Ya got me!
Where is the file, actually (if it's on our server and you don't know the directory, I can figure that out)?

I really don’t know, but I guess it would reside somewhere on your server in one of the phpBB directories…?Jon wrote:Where is the file, actually (if it's on our server and you don't know the directory, I can figure that out)?
Re: Uploading Formats
I think it's probably stored directly in the BBoard database isn't it? Judging by the URL.
