Hi, I've got an error 4 says something about XML parse error when importing Papers library to Bookends. I am running latest version of bookends, papers and snow leopard.

Hi,
That means that the xml file exported from Papers is not kosher (there may be a forbidden character in it, for example). There's nothing Bookends can do about this -- if the XML structure is invalid it can't import the data. If you can narrow this down to just one reference (likely), then I'd report it to mekentosj.
