I am using a modified Turabian Author-Date style. I have added my short annotation which I enter in the abstract field. The idea is to produce an annotated bibliography.
The book format looks like this:
a. d. t. $Translated by $u3*. $Edited by $e. f. l: u. $Original edition, $u11`.`
— b
What I have added is that second line which I have distinguished by the dash and the italics. I would like to further distinguish it by making the font different and smaller. There does not seem to be any way to tell Mellel to use a style for that line. Am I wrong?
Mellel styles in the Biblio
Re: Mellel styles in the Biblio
Hi, that's really a question for the Mellel forum. But I believe you are correct -- I doubt Mellel can give you that level of style control.
FWIW, if you change the size and font of the abstracts you are citing, Bookends will send that information along in the citation/footnote/bibliography. If Mellel isn't overriding what Bookends sends, you'll see this. This is hardly ideal, however, because you'd have to modify each reference's abstract individually.
