Secondary output with multiple citations

I need to output footnotes with the secondary version of a citation (Just ), but without the '.' Is there a way to write the field code so that it only places a period if there are no subsequent citations, and a comma if there are?
To complicate this further, what about when there are page numbers? The default field code for turabian footnotes is a, “s,” which outputs a comma even when there are no page numbers given. This should be a period.

Code: Select all
a, “s.”
