Sorry, but I have a query relative to Bookend 10.6.4, but it also in the most recent version I have donwloaded the demo. I am trying to cite the page, so I copy the citation, which appears such as
{Adams, 1997, #77418@38}. When I scan however, the citation goes to appear as (Adams, 199738). I use the Harvard format, but this is not really the problem. It seems that Mellel, registered version and Nisus Pro (demo version) do not scan correctly.
I have reinstalled the demo version of Bookends, but it is still giving the same problem. The user guide does not help much about.
Thanks,
Robert
Cited pages problems
Re: Cited pages problems
What goes before and after the cited page is determined by the settings in the format. Please open the Harvard format (via Biblio -> Formats Manager) and enter what you want output. Something like
", p. " in Before
and
"." in After.
(don't include the quote marks).
You can also have Bookends output different characters depending on if there is one page or a series of pages (using the ^ character). If you want to read about this in the User Guide in more detail, it's on p. 178 (section Cited Pages).
