Export or import citation

Post by raymond »

Hello,

I would like to understand how I can import citation details into Bookends.

Is it possible to bring the citation of this paper inside BE?

TIA

I would export to RefMan. You should receive a text file, which I would import into Bookends using the Bookends RIS import filter.

Thanks for your explanations.
I have done the first part of your proposal and received a file called : SSRNref_1756729.ris
Now for the second part;
I have no idea how to find: Bookends RIS import filter
I have tried your Guide book, and found some pages explaining some technics of importing, but could find how to find this filter.
I'll appreciate your guiding me here.
TIA

1. File -> Import Filter Manager.

2. Scroll down the list of filters to RIS and check it ON.

3. Drop the text file on the database window.

4. Select RIS from the dialog's popup menu.

5. Click Import.

I see that Jon can't help me anymore, so, may be, someone else will be able to assist me.
