New User: APA 6 Format Issue

Post by jfdalrymple »

I'm new to BookEnds and hoping to rely on it as my new reference manager to replace EndNotes and Zotero. However I cannot seem to get the Bibliography Formatter to properly format an APA 6 edition Bibliography (Reference List). In the Bibliography Formatter window I have selected APA 6th Edition as the defined format, but the subsequent lines for each reference are not indented as required. When I check the "Hanging indent" box in the Bibliography Options tab of the Formats Manager, the hanging indent is applied to the first line of the reference, not the subsequent ones. Please help!

The hanging indent will be applied in the word processor window after you actually scan a document. Also, note that if you send a bibliography to the Bibliography Window (with Bibliography Formatter) and copy the contents, when you paste into a word processor window you'll see the hanging indent.
