I wonder if the one column list in library window would look "cleaner" if the background were white (instead of alternating white and light blue). I'll paste what it would look like below. Let me know what you think (including, it doesn't matter).
Which sidebar? The Groups pane is already a pale blue/gray, like iTunes. I don't think making the one on the right the same color would look good (others may chime in).
I really like the wide screen view options, with the attachments shown to the right and a higher references pane; however, being in this new, modern look, I miss the opportunity of choosing to list the references according to date added. Is that something you'd consider to implement some time in the future? I really love the new list view but often I work with the newly added papers, making the new list view somewhat obsolete to me (which I find to be a shame)

Likewise, I'd like to use the new list view, but I greatly miss the ability to type the first few letters of the column its sorted by to move rapidly to a reference. E.g. when sorted by author, I type 'kle' and end up at a reference for Kleinberg. Is that impossible to add for the new view?

Hi,
Are you referring to the one column list view? If so, you can sort using a right-click. This is from the release notes for 11.2.1 (http://www.sonnysoftware.com/new/new.html)
• Sort the single column view in the library window
Right-click, or click on the Action pop-up, to sort by the following fields (secondary sort in parentheses): Author (Date), Title (Date), Date, Date Added, Date Modified, Type (Date). The Date Added and Modified sorts are descending (i.e. most recent at the top).

Brilliant! I knew I'd missed something somewhere; completely overlooked that in the right-click action
Thanks a lot!
