Renaming a custom format

I've started experimenting with custom formats. A question for more experienced users - how do you rename a custom format?

The only way I could do this was to bring up the Formats Manager, then right click on my new format, show it in the Finder and then rename it. If I then close and reopen the Formats Manager the new name appears.

Is there a better way or is this it?

No, what you did is correct. A format is like a word processor document (or a document for any other app), and is rename in the Finder.
