Could it be possible to add a button or shortcut to copy a citation (and import if it is not imported already) directly from online search?
This will speed up my work a lot. Before I cite I often do a pubmed search to see if there is any new publication on the topic, and currently I switch between windows and search both in my library and online.
Best regards

You already can import using Bookends Browser. If Bookends Browser detects a doi, pmid, JSTOR permanent link, or embedded COinS in a web page it will display a downward arrow icon at the top right. Click to import the references it finds (and perhaps the PDF, if it can resolve the link).
Please search the user guide (Help menu) for "Bookends Browser".
It wouldn't make any sense to "copy citation" from Bookends Browser, btw, because the ref would have to *in* Bookends when you scanned.
