As of today, I can't perform an internet search through Bookends. I've tried Google Scholar, Amazon, LOC, Columbia, Harvard...all return zero hits, when clearly the book exists. (Tried Tom Sawyer as a test)
Any ideas? I have not changed anything on my computer, or in my Bookends settings. I'm baffled. And wanting to get back up and running.
Running latest version of BE. Thanks!
all internet searches return no hits?
Re: all internet searches return no hits?
Sounds like some issue with your connection (firewall, proxy server, etc.). Please check the network settings in System Preferences and make sure they're OK. And maybe rebooting may help.

Re: all internet searches return no hits?
I do not have any problem about the database above, but I would like to note that the University of Chicago instead returns a message:
<h1>Failed to initialize to libcat.uchicago.edu
It has been going for my computers for last week. I am usually using Oxford University as my subject library, so I cannot say when the problem started.
I just report as it is.

Re: all internet searches return no hits?
Thanks for the report -- university libraries change their database and servers from time to time. I've updated the University of Chicago import filter for the next update.

Re: all internet searches return no hits?
My internet connection was fine at the time, but indeed, the issue was resolved through a restart. Thanks.
