Blank citations after formatting

I just downloaded Bookends 13.0.8 and used it to format a text in Apple Pages (7.0 (5576)). The last version of Bookends filled in all references when I formatted the document using the APA format, but this time, many references in the text were turned into blanks.

What is going on?

I have to do some more publishing of formatted documents soon and I would like to sort this out ASAP.

Check the format make make sure the output for that particular type is correct (and not set to a blank order field, for example).
