Restore deleted group

Hi,

Is there any way to restore a deleted Group?

After an update, one of my Static groups (which had lots of sub-groups) appeared duplicated, i.e. there were two copies of that group for some reason in the list in the left hand menu.
To try to solve the problem, I just deleted one of them. However, to my horror BOTH disappeared.

I Sync with iCloud and not sure if iCloud automatically backs up your library somewhere.I just created a copy of my library now, but probably too late.

You can't restore a deleted group. However, you should have a local backup of your library on your HR (In the Bookends folder in Applications Support). If the backup is current just use it. If not, the deleted groups are smart groups, you can copy/paste them one at a time from the back to the working library. If they're static groups, you can at least see their contents and make new groups with the same refs.

BTW, you should definitely right-click on the groups pane and do a "Flatten Groups List Hierarchy". It's possible your groups are there but not showing.
