Can anyone describe how they were successful in configuring their Mac to see their IOS devices? Tech Support for Bookends seems to be hopeless. I have yet to receive a reply to any inquiries. Would appreciate any insights.

I'm not sure that we have received any messages from you. Please resend them to

If you are talking about Bookends Wi-Fi sync method please read this page first (with the troubleshooting section at the end):

That's Cloud Sync. Please read our docs for Cloud Sync (it will be faster then explaining the same on the forum):
https://www.sonnysoftware.com/bookendsontap/cloudsync/
But to answer your original question: “configuring their Mac to see their IOS devices”. In cloud sync all libraries are linked to remote libraries in the Cloud. You gave the library a name when it is synced for the first time (on macOS or iOS) and after that syncing your devices with that remote library is performed automatically. All necessary steps are described in the link above.

TY. So, how can I switch from Cloud sync to wi-fi sync without losing my refs?

I don't know why you'd want to, but wi-fi sync is described here
https://www.sonnysoftware.com/bookendsontap/wifisync/
You should refer to the documentation for Bookends for iOS, the landing page being
https://www.sonnysoftware.com/bookendsontap/
