Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a replacement for the PDF reader that I use up and till today (Marginnote), and not specifically for a reference manager.
The idea of reference management for me holds more to being able to annotate, take note and keep a tab on these notes / annotations.
I have no issues with Marginnote, but am looking to make more use of the (possible) interaction between Devonthink, Devonthink To Go and Bookends on mac and iOS.
Hence my question:
Can you really use Bookends as a PDF reader too?
Thanks for helping out!
Can you use Bookends to "read" pdf books?
Re: Can you use Bookends to "read" pdf books?
Yes, although that's not its primary purpose. Try it yourself -- the Bookends for Mac demo is fully functional except for a 50 reference limit. Bookends for iOS can be run in "ad-mode' for free, too, and can sync with the Mac version via wi-fi. See if they work as you want.
