I greatly appreciate the ability to view and import images from Amazon, etc., in BE. Is there any way, however, to not have them automatically saved in my attachments folder (or anywhere else)?
When I import from Amazon, I often delete the link to the image. I just noticed, however, that my attachments folder is full of images from Amazon, the paths of which I have deleted. Would it be possible to have a preference to tell BE not to save (or better: to delete) images if the path is deleted? This may not be everyone's default, but I think it would be a useful preference (as long as it could be turned on and off). Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Shayne
Amazon attachments
Hi Shayne,
Uncheck the checkbox for View Image. If it's unchecked, Bookends won't import it. You can also edit the Amazon import filter so that it doesn't import images ever (remove URLImage- from the Keywords tag field)
You can delete the image in Bookends now by right-clicking on the attachment name in the Keyword field.
In the next version of Bookends it will be slicker.
