Date range in biblio
I am using APA 6th
I have a personal communication with a date range 1973-1982
What do I set in the reference manager to display (1973-1982) rather than (1973)?
Thanks.

Nisus Markers wrong size
BE 12.7.4, NW 2.1.6, MacOS 10.12.2 I have a Nisus Pro doc that exclusively uses named styles. The text style is Helvetica Neue 10 regular. After scanning, the citations [36] are transformed to 12. On unscan, the markers [Cardier, 2015, #40437] are also at 12p. Removing attributes and styles in NWp r...

Re: Continuing Problems in Word
Also, reverting to Word 14.7.1 by saving as .doc and opening in that previous version, the same occurs: images are lost.

Continuing Problems in Word
Previously, a scan would change all the formatting. Since then there have been a couple Word updates.
I now have the ability to scan without Word changing formatting, but all the images disappear!
Word 15.29.1, macOS 10.12.2, MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), docx format, images are PNG.

Re: NIH Grant Format
Just so future Forum visitors have this info… Proposal guidance is in SF424_RR_Guide_SBIR_STTR_VerC.pdf Section 4.4.9 on Page I-85: When citing articles that fall under the Public Access Policy, were authored or co-authored by the applicant and arose from NIH support, provide the NIH Manuscript Subm...

NIH Grant Format
I am addressing NIH for the first time in a grant proposal. I understand that they require certain information to help them evaluate proposals through on-line references and require a certain format. Can you advise on what to use? I assume that I have to go through every reference I use and assure t...

Re: Delicious Library Author Import
Gosh. There doesn't seem to be anything BE can't do!
I really need to read the docs.

Delicious Library Author Import
I have a couple thousand books nicely catalogued in DL. I really like that I can import them into BE.
But DL manages author names first last, while I have BE set up conventionally for last, first.
Are there any tips to make the translation. As it stands, the DL import is pretty hard to work with.

Assigning Keywords en masse
Sorry to be asking so many questions. This does not seem to be in the manual.
How do I assign a keyword to a large number of references simultaneously?

Re: Creative use of Links
Thanks Jon. That tells me what I need to know about the groups part of the question. But I should have left that out of the original post. My primary question is about what clever things users are doing with links. Typed links could be a big deal in organizing a complex, interdisciplinary reference ...

Creative use of Links
As I dive deeper into BE, I continue to be surprised.
It seems to me that links can be very powerful. I wonder how far I can push this and wonder how some advanced users work with links.
Is there any oblique way for links to be considered in forming groups?
