Page number in wrong format
Hello, When I insert a page number after a short title of a dictionary (which has no author and only abbreviation of the title), the scanning is putting the page number in italics following the short title which is in italics. For example: 'xxx', HALAT, I, 321 . I need to put I, 321 in regular non-i...

Re: Comma outside the quotation mark
Hi Jon,
I should have said that T&T Clark UK requires the punctuation outside the comma.
I think, in the future updates it would be nice to have the option open for customers to choose.
Thanks

Re: Comma outside the quotation mark
Hi Jon, Thanks for your reply. The convention of where to put the comma or punctuation is more to do with the practice in the US versus UK/Europe, I think. For example, the publisher T&T Clark requires to put the punctuation outside. Anyway, I tried what you told me, but it makes no difference. ...

Re: Book series title and abbreviation
Hi Jon,
Have you looked at my other question about putting comma outside the quotation mark? In particular, it is about how to put the comma outside the short title (Book chapter) that is within quotation marks. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Book series title and abbreviation
Hi Jon,
Sorry, there was a spelling error in my abbreviation and that is why it was not picking up the short form. Adding the abbreviation to the Journal glossary even for the Type 'Book' works (I initially thought Journal glossary will apply only for the Type 'Journal').
Thanks.

Re: Book series title and abbreviation
Hi Jon,
Thanks for your reply. I am using Journal glossary. From you suggestion, I added VTSup abbrv. to the glossary. The format for footnote is set to 'j' and I rescanned the doc, but it still shows the full name ('f').
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello, In the category of Book, I need to have Series title (e.g., Supplements to Vetus Testamentum) in full in my bibiography, but shortened form (e.g., VTSup) in my footnotes. I was looking for a way to make this work like Journal glossary, but could not. I don't know how to enable the field 'j' w...

Comma outside the quotation mark
Hello, I am not succeeding in finding the way how to put the comma outside the quotation mark. In the following example my style guide requires the comma after the closing single quotation mark: Gooding, 'Ahab,' 210. I want 'Ahab', 210. In this case, 'Ahab' is short title for a journal article. How ...

Hello, I'm having a trouble getting rid of a comma in between Surnames in Secondary order for Edited books. This is how it appears now. Stade, and Schwally (eds.), Critical Edition , 157. I want to remove the comma (,) after 'Stade'. I tried all the options in Name Punctuation, but to no avail. Plea...

Font case problem in abbreviations, roman numbers
Hi, I'm a new Bookends user and am setting up my new style. I can't solve this font display problem. In my bibliography list, only the first letter of the short title, abbreviation for series, roman numbers are displayed properly (i.e. in capital) while the rest are in small cases. See below an exam...
