Re: Shortcut to create New Note???
Trust me in regard to keystrokes… I've got muscle-memory for each one of my apps. So… will this be available in a future update?

Re: Shortcut to create New Note???
Although Command-[ doesn't seem very intuitive, I will take what I can get. Is Command-Shift-N already mapped?

Re: Shortcut to create New Note???
Thanks, Jon. I had forgotten about that. However, it still would be MUCH quicker & easier to use a shortcut. I hope to see this implemented soon. Blessings!

Shortcut to create New Note???
I would assume there would be a shortcut for creating a new note, as often as it is used. However, I have looked diligently, but am only able to add notes via the "+" symbol at the bottom of the window. Am I missing something? Is there a way? And if there isn't, why not? This is one of the...

Re: Quoting Ancient Sources
Ok- I've got this working to a degree. However, I'm having some problems. How do I distinguish what is going to be put in my Citation, verses what will be put into my Bibliography? I can't seem to find anything that tells me about that. Any suggestions?

Re: Quoting Ancient Sources
Great suggestion, Jon! It worked perfectly! Now I just need to figure out why this reference in my bibliography is in a different font than the rest of the sources!

Re: Quoting Ancient Sources
One thing you could do is create a Type for Ancient Sources (assign one of the Unused Types to Ancient, for example). In the format, don't output "p." before the pages field. Jon Sonny Software That's a great idea! However, I don't see a way to change the output for the fields. Can you gi...

Re: Quoting Ancient Sources
I'm not knowledgable about ancient sources, but if you have a "page equivalent" it can still be entered in the Pages field. Bookends will output it where the pages would normally go. Jon Sonny Software Thanks for the reply, Jon - The problem with that, however, is that Bookends auto-forma...

Quoting Ancient Sources
I use Bookends primarily for religious research. I need help figuring out how to quote ancient sources such as the Talmud, Mishnah, etc. These sources do not use conventional page numbering. For instance, a common reference from the Talmud would be: b.Shabbat 88b The "b" at the beginning s...

Newbee Question re: Notecards
I apologize if this question is redundant, but I searched for a long time through the threads without finding anything to match my needs. I'm trying to do something that should be very simple. When I copy the text of my notecard into Mellel (my word processor) via "Copy Note and Citation" ...
