"_" in keywords an research
Hello
A number of my keywords contain "_" eg firstname_lastname
When I try to search for references containing one of these keywords, bookends doesn't find any. Is it normal ?
Best,
Ismaïl

Re: Bookends folder and dropbox
This is what I thought
But now, when I try to select a subfolder in Dropbox (eg Dropbox/Work/Biblio/Bookends/Attachements, it is automatically set back to Dropbox/Bookends/Attachments)

Bookends folder and dropbox
Hello
It looks like the Bookends folder in Dropbox now has to be at a fixed place i.e. /Dropbox/Bookends. This was not the case before. Is it normal ?

Some references require unicode normalization
Hello When I try to verify my library (Library Maintenance / Verify) This pops up the following warning window Some references require unicode normalization Indexed searches are unreliable if unicode characters are not stored in the same form. We recommend that you let Bookends normalize and rebuild...

knowing to which group(s) folder(s) a reference belong
Hi
I was wondering whether there is a way to know to which (smart) folder/group a selected reference belong ?
Best regards,
Isma

Re: links column too wide in reference list
What I don't understand is the different behaviour between 'links' and other fields like 'pmid' for the last column In the following screenshot, I have just changed the last column between pmid and links. For the pmid field, you can see that the column is left aligned whereas it is not the case with...

Re: alternative views for pdf annotation
thanks
And what about the idea of proposing an alternative view: splitting vertically instead of horizontally ? I also like the idea of keeping the reference list visible but I think the vertical split is more adapted to our wide screens

Re: alternative views for pdf annotation
Many thanks for your answer Indeed. I forgot the attachment tab. In fact, I realise that I don't know how to use the attachment tab in practice : Within the attachment tab, you loose the ability to annotate your paper with bookends cards. Plus I would say that the attachment tab is not likely to be ...

alternative views for pdf annotation
Hello Currently Bookends window is split horizontally : reference list on top and pdf/browser/tag.. on bottom. For annotating pdf, I would find very useful to be able to benefit from the whole heigh of my screen One possibility would be to be able to hide completely the reference list pane on top (i...

added field when moving one ref from one library to another one
Hello
I have just realised that moving one ref from one library to another one does not change the date in the "Added" field. However the Modified field is modified. Is it normal ?
Best
Isma
